Extreme caution still triggers when doing nothing

Frequency: Way too often to be a one time occurence
World name: Ragnarok
Character name: Cassia Kaedhan
Monster name: Gabriel/Gabriel plus/Menenius
Class/Level: MCH 80
Party or solo: Both
Area and coordinates: Bozja battlefields.
Steps:
1. Get the "Extreme Caution" or any "Don't move" debuffs.
2. Don't do anything, lift your hands off you keyboard.
3. Watch as the debuff explode.
4. Collect your tears if you happened to be in a Duel.


Description:
Since Southern Front of Bozja, the "Extreme Caution" made a comeback. However even when doing nothing at all, the debuff will sometimes explode. This has been experienced in Bozja battlefields so far, never in dungeons or raids. It also happens with Acceleration bomb.

Both debuff reads that you must not move or attack when the effects ends. Yet they randomly explode without warning or any input. This happened to me 5 times which is not a lot but it's odd it happened that much, especially in duel.
It happened to me on different PC and connexions.

Notice that there is a healing coming from Dynamic Sensory Jammer.

It will still trigger if you auto attack the target, "lifting your hands off your keyboard" is not enough. You need to either sheathe your weapon or unselect your current target.

I haven't done the duel, but this mechanic has been around since the final tier of Heavensward and what I always did was detarget and move my hands away from my keyboard when the countdown was almost up and this still works in all the content I do.

Forgot to mention it, the video shows it but the weapon is sheathed.
It often triggered when i sheathed the weapon away a bit early (more than 3 seconds before the debuff disappear.), not sure if it's related.

Yes, as far as I know it's been in Baelsar's wall, Lamebrix, Susano, Neo Exdeath and other content before Bozja. I never had troubles with those.
The bug only happened in Zadnor and the Southest front, I'm suspecting the mechanic struggles when there's a lot of player. Never had problems in any other content, including Dalriada.

That's so weird, I've never seen that happen before. Must really be something exclusive to Bozja/Zadnor due to large amount of players interacting.

This bug happened to me once during my first Gabriel clear back in 5.35. Unfortunately I don't have a clue on how to actually consistently replicate this issue, as ever since then I've never encountered it although the conditions were the same: doing nothing(not even moving the camera on Legacy) with weapon sheathed before the counter hits 2 seconds remaining, and then only moving, panning, or attacking when the debuff disappears from list.

EDIT: The job I was on when this incident happened was Black Mage at Level 80. This condition was the same for all non-encounters during Extreme Caution.

It happened again today, on Menenius this time, confirming the issue with the "dice".

It's getting incredibly frustrating, especially when stacking 4 Notoriety and losing a potential buff + actual mettle. And it's actually the second time it happened against Menenius, ruining 2 runs.
I've seen this bug happening only on MCH so far, anyone who experienced it could share their job?

EDIT: Also had another occurence in stock but didn't posted it as I believed it was due to the camera.

Confirming several instances of Acceleration Bomb with the Menenius duel going off with no auto-attacking, no moving, and no actions whatsoever. The same duel also has issues of Marching Orders not going off when the timer hits 0.

Almost unplayable.

Bumping up this thread as someone seems to have actually found the solution, I'll be sharing it here.

Basically, it's not the targeting but the auto-face.
When you cast and stop moving your character will keep following the target and "move", going left or right.

I guess it can still count as a bug, our character should not follow a target they're not targeting.
