Seems to be since 5.55 that when selected a framerate option of 1/2 or below, the framerates drop significantly more. None and Refresh Rate 1/1 are unaffected.
I am playing on 144hz monitor, so if I select 72 fps (Refresh Rate 1/2), it drops to a fixed 12fps. If I cap frames through geforce works, but it is less smooth than with Refresh Rate 1/2.
Has anyone encountered this?

To prevent repeating previously attempted troubleshooting, what have you tried to alleviate the problem? Does this issue happen when Final Fantasy XIV is the only program running? Also, could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
