what nah clearly once you join a fc your sworn for life ;)
Probably shouldn't join them if that is their invite strategy in the first place.
They're probably just venting.
I remember when I quit the first FC I ever joined, which was one of the big FCs on Exodus during ARR, because I just couldn't get into their conversations. As soon as I quit, one of the members sent me a /tell calling me a traitor. I felt a mixture of "yeah, okay *eyeroll smile*" and "How dare they?!".
Edit: *Looks at the post above mine* Called it! >w>
FCs are a favored vector for gr00mers everywhere. People who are trying to build up a cult tend to take departures as a blow directly to their ego.
I ended up just making a FC for myself and a pair of friends. I grew tired of random invites, drama, manipulative behaviour, personality cults and the desire to have opinions and beliefs conform precisely to that of the leadership.
I'd strongly urge anyone who isn't a fan of FC's to create a solo FC for their own benefit. You basically get an expanded inventory, too, thanks to the FC chest!
