Trust system could it be better?

I'm not talking about the npcs, Do you think the developers will ever let us Duo with them?


I have two cases where I would love to do group content with players, but one of them has anxiety due to abuse from players in wow. The other is a 63 year old lady who has a very hard time understanding basic concepts like dots.


Them both I would love to do dungeons with, and go at pace they want. Slowly teaching them, and helping in what ways I can. Without the pressure of keeping with a group of players pace.



I think the Trust system could be used for good, and would like it expanded.

It would be cool if you could simply fill in any gaps with NPCs yeah.
In the mean time, it sounds like you need to find a fourth like-minded person. Or Unsync the lower level dungeons.

They don't group with each other, and It is going to be a struggle just to get that wow player to duo with me.


This is going to sound strange, but something about the npcs they both feel really comfortable with. So that is why I'm hoping they expand the Trust system. What better way to learn and get use to something is by playing with someone else, and both are willing to learn.

I think it could be better, but I think for what it is it does the job well enough. I'm never opposed to improvements though, like being able to queue with friends and such.

Ya, and I'm going to have level a tank if they do add this option. Because I was told that they refuse to give up their grandkids (alphinaud and alisaie) for me. I'm just like Q_Q lol.

Being able to queue with friends would be great. That's really the only improvement, other than perhaps expanding it to msq story mode trials and prior expansion dungeons somehow, that I'd want.

Wouldn't mind seeing more aoe damage from the dps npcs too.

Trust, for me personally, has always felt like a Dungeon Tutorial mechanic more than anything else. Every dungeon you unlock for MSQ they are level appropriate and execute the mechanics well enough to understand what you should be doing. (Mostly, I'm looking at you Alphinaud during the Aenc Thon fight)

Not many people I've talked with thinks this is a bad idea. What would be the downsides of it? I don't see many.

I've wanted the ability to duo or trio and have a Trust fill in as the missing party mates since they were introduced. Also be able to do MSQ solo duties in a party instead as option.

My hubby quit because of attitudes in game and I would love if I could bring him back just for the MSQ with me.

Definitely think this would be a handy feature, another example is when someone leaves- I think it could be nice if they 'tag team' in. Like if you're in the MSQ roulette and some people leave because it's the wrong one, NPCs could take over and then players can still replace those npcs (with perhaps restrictions on like "if currently in a boss fight" lol). Also these NPCs can do a unique concept of instantly replacing someone who was dropped, like due to lag, and then let the player return with their slot saved with the team being able to choose to have the game search for another player.

Huge opportunity to abuse such a tag team system so it'd need to not work for the hardest content, but I see no problem with it in story level content, even if players 'abused it' .. whatever.. it's story content.. if that floats your boat lol.
