"Pro Rata Discount (Character): -180 Crysta"
It should be Rate instead of Rata?
Pro rata means "In proportion; according to a certain rate", it's one of those latin phrases we still use in the modern age. It's a noun, determining what kind of discount it is. "Pro rate" is a verb, and refers to the actual calculating of the proportions. So, they pro rated the discount, then proceeded to give you a pro rata discount. Make sense?
Oh thx Urthdigger :)
I never know that ( Sorry my English is not my mother language )
To be fair, I wouldn't expect every native english speaker to know it either. While it's not an obscure word, neither is it one that crops up in everyday life, and I imagine a lot of people can go their whole lives without stumbling across it.
