[dev1216] New Hamlet Defense Battles: Questions?

Battles occur every 76 hours? (3 Days?) 50 hour prep + 26 hour battle, then 50 hour reset?

How many Instances can occur at once? How many 8-man PT's can participate?

Does the 26 hour Battle continue for the full 26 hours regardless if a PT "Wins" their instance?

Why is Class-Stacking seemingly encouraged via the bonus scores and how do the bonuses relate to rewards? (and what are the rewards?...Seals, Exp, what?)

Is this a Grand Company or "Open" event? Are there "same company" bonuses or do GC's and GC Seals have nothing to do with this event?

Hmmm...so if you do not defeat the "Boss" you have to defend the Supply Carts for 25 hours ? OR is each 8-man instance a timed raid that repeats during the 25 hour period? (and if so, how long is the timed raid?)

If each instance is a "mini-raid", will the "Bosses" be different or will we be killing the same "Tribe Leader" over & over?

One thing that I think I can answer with some certainty is that it sounds like the attacks will come in phases, something like the time period of Behest. I think it'll occur in 30 minute intervals with a 15 minute cooldown (as per the patch notes) in between attacks.

This is going to be pretty maddening until the other Hamlets are released as only parties of 8 can enter at a time. It's going to become a NPC spamfest like Behests were early on in the game.

It's not class stacking that is encouraged. These defense battles seem like they are going to have a ton of enemies of varying strengths so clearing as all mages/all melee/same class would assumedly be tougher so you get a bonus for it (Notice it says that everyone has to be the same class, not "6 warriors 2 white mages"). You also get what looks like a bonus for everyone being a different class, and what looks like a bonus for less people being on jobs.

There is nothing about company restrictions like in the Chocobo Caravan information so it's assumed its open for everyone.
