Potential chat bug?

I was doing the main story quest in Haukke Manor, and I couldn't remember how to teleport to the start of the duty. I asked in party chat how to, but I think party chat was buggy? I don't think they could see me chat, or I couldn't see theirs. Could see their chat at the start of the duty... Anyone else have that happen?

Use /p before you type in a party. Alternatively, remain in party chat for the duration of a dungeon. (click the chat bubble icon on the bottom lefthand side of your chatbox and select party)

/say to talk to people in front of you (this is default)
/party to talk to your party
/alliance to talk to your alliance in a 24-person raid
/shout to talk to everyone on the current map
/yell to talk to everyone in a large radius but not necessarily the whole map
/novice to talk in the novice network if you are in that
