People need to stop withdrawing as soon as the queue pops, it has been HORRIBLE

Pretty much all weekend, people are withdrawing from duty two seconds after the queue pops and it is driving wait times to insane levels.

Earlier today, my chat was littered with "a party member has withdrawn from duty" so much that it completely filled the chat window.

These people are not AFK or allowing the timer to run down. They withdraw as soon as the queue pops.

My wife has been trying to get into Dun Scaith now for the last five hours due to this BS. The queue popped every 30 minutes only for someone to withdraw the second that it popped. It was not even enough time for my wife to click "commence" as someone clicked "withdraw" IMMEDIATELTY

She has been trying to get in since 1 PM and now it is almost 6 PM. Her queue time is nearing five hours all because idiots are withdrawing

I was doing roulettes earlier with the same shit going on

Sounds like she's queuing at not prime time and if she's on a NA server there are likely fewer people on today in general due to it being Mother's Day.

Maybe consider queuing with her as well as a tank or healer to help with the queue times, especially if she is playing a DPS class.

Imo everything thats 8+ ppl should start anyways, like pvp already does... its mean to screw 23 ppl because one dps didnt accept lol

I think it is people using a 3rd party app and plugin which tells them which duty popped for their roulette. So they fast cancel everything until their preferred duty comes up, which is syrcus tower in the alliance roulette because it takes less time to complete.

You might have to create a PF for dun scaith and do it unsync with say 9 people split into 3 parties of 3.

It doesn't surprise me such a cheat exists, but if you want a crystal tower raid all you need to do is take off your clothes :)

It does. I've had it happen when I've queued for raids but not so much that I haven't gotten into it in 6 hours.

That sounds like part of it is when the person queued as to why it's taking so long.

Can't stop people from hitting cancel on the queue. Can change when you queue to reduce the affect of such occurrences.

People seem to think the solution to all queue problems is "ping the player". There's plenty of things devs could be doing instead. Why can't you start a 24+ man raid short a few if 1-2 drop out (particularly the non-current ones)? Why is there an annoying 10 min wait before you can top up a party? Why can't players see exactly which parties are short so they can volunteer for an opening?

That sounds like a lot of extra effort for something that can be done by simply lowering one's iLvl before queueing up for Alliance roulette.

Ive never got why theres no "In need" roulett that just basically is mentor minus the Ex trials lol...

I think if SE increased the timer for alliance raids to 60, 70, 80 seconds, it'd help prevent withdrawaling that you constantly see on them, and allow more consistent entry into alliance raids due to people having more time, perhaps they could add a penalty to withdrawaling too? Maybe 15 minutes? As if you honestly NEED to withdrawal from a 80 second queue you're probably gonna be gone for longer then 15 minutes, and anyone who doesn't have a good reason and just leaves immediately like this thread is gonna need to sit and twiddle their thumbs for wasting a bunch of peoples time.
