Question Concerning Grand Company Expert Deliveries

I often send out my retainers on "Quick Explorations" and they often come back with items I can turn in to my GC as expert deliveries.

The armor on my main DPS was expensive to procure and also appears on the list of items I can turn in. I am afraid that one of these days I am accidentally going to click on one of these items and pfffffftttttt it is going to be gone. And unlike selling an item to a vendor you cannot undo it.

I think the answer to this is most likely "no", but is there any way to protect an item from begin accidentally turned in by mistake?

At the top of the expert delivery window there is a drop down box that well let you select the options to either hide all gear assigned to a gear set or all items in your armoury chest, just for this purpose.

There is a check box at the top of the turn-in window that says hide armoury chest items. Click that, then move anything you want to turn in into your regular inventory(right click, or hit square if on PS, move to inventory, then turn in from there)

As well as the suggestions above... anything with a materia melded into it will be safe. You will get an additional warning.
