Specifically an RP tab.
No. PF is for people looking to do real content.
To be fair, it's called "party finder". Not "dungeon/raid/trial party finder". It does, however, have those categories in there, as well as stuff for FATEs, treasure maps, ocean fishing, etc. It exists to allow people to find others to group with.
As much as I'm not a fan of RP stuff flooding everything (even spilling over into shout chat in Eulmore), having a specific RP tab in the party finder would probably help alleviate some of the recent issues with it.
The issue isn't roleplay in general. From the threads that I've been involved in, people don't really care and are fine with the idea of RP getting its own tab. I'm all for it because organization is cool.
The issue is people opening venues specifically to sell sex/ERP in a game that includes minors. An RP tab won't fix that problem and that's more of what the fuss is about right now. Just wanted to clarify that this might help those who want a tab but it's not the main issue at hand.
ERP would be a factor regardless of a RP tab. But there is a substantial number of players who are interested in non-ERP, who may have no idea where to go to find other people who like to play too. It seems reasonable to make it easier for those players to enjoy the game in their own way.
This seems like a really simple thing to do for them, and using ERP as a reason to neglect these players (not saying that's one anyone here is advocating, but I've seen the argument before) is like saying there shouldn't be a dungeon or raid tab because of how common griefing is.
I want to say no, but I can't say no to a fellow midlander like Provoke. So I'll have to support him.
ERP is content. Its harder than Ultimate tbh. Rock hard
Okay great please read this again:
The OP said nothing about ERP. I said nothing about ERP. I mentioned that it would be useful and could help with some issues people have with it. Some. Some issues. It might help with some issues. Get it?
