Eorzean Script stroke order

Is there any official source for the actual stroke order on eorzean script characters?
It's stated in a few places that (paraphrasing) "scholars theorize it was written right to left and with a left hand due to shape and stroke order of some characters" so I've been wondering if there's some behind the scenes info about it or it's just (for lack of a better word) "fluff" to explain the characters that kind of "feel wrong" to write by hand (such as F or Q).

I actually hope this isn't the case, as it implies that text written left to right by a right hand in our world is correct and those written by a pretend left hander even in a fantasy setting is wrong by examination via the real world context by playing the game.

As a left handed person, stop implying that left hand centric ideas or basis is wrong or evil.

I understand where you're coming from, but the alleged "analysis" is merely morphological and I wouldn't assume it implies correctness. Nothing says it's wrong to write them left-handed. It would, in fact, be the opposite, since Eorzean script (in-world) was lost and then rediscovered; so what these supposed scholars are saying is that it was originally (and thus, "correctly") written left-handed and right to left (for whatever reasons) and once rediscovered it started to be ("wrongly") written left to right (for whatever reasons) and with an unspecified hand, which I would assume means it's written with the dominant hand of the one doing the writing.


We could go into the reasoning behind the "whatever reasons" why it was first written in a way and then in another way and discuss the preconceived ideas behind that, but that's not the point. I just want to know if a stroke order (i.e. the order in which each individual stroke of each individual character is written, mostly only relevant when learning the script or for calligraphy purposes) actually exists or not.

Japanese is traditionally written top-to-bottom, right to left, but is often displayed left-to-right on computer screens. Regardless of reading direction, stroke order is generally top-to-bottom, left to right. These diagrams might help you understand how Japanese people view writing, but beyond that, I'm not sure.


There isn't actually a breakdown in the Encyclopaedia Eorzea, to my surprise, but judging by the script on the Eorzean map, it looks like basic Japanese stroke logic applies, even though it's clearly based on a mirrored Roman alphabet.
