Mysterious Tree using Ultima!?

Anyone know what's going on with this tree?:confused:
Found it in the end of east of Treespeak:D

That's been there since launch. Just a magical glowing tree, nothing to see here.

you've only now discovered that tree? It's in the story line even...

Yeah it's been there from the start of the game, people noticed it back when eft burns were a thing.

It's assumed it's a "Hedge" tree that helps hold up the magical border of the shroud.

Yeah, first time saw it. It looks impressive. Which part of story it was in? I must missed it.

CON quest, I think. If I remember right it's the level 30 quest. You don't actually see the tree in the quest, but it's mentioned. It's been so long since I did that one...
