Please allow us to select the title and movie from the title screen and then make the change permanent until we select another.
There is no logical reason why the title and movie changes are temporary. The Stormblood and Shadowbringers title screens have been obnoxiously loud and I'd like to make the Heavensward or A Realm Reborn title screens permanent instead.

Yep, I have a heart attack every time I login, when the Shadowbringers music literally explodes. I was so happy, when it was announced that you could now choose the ARR title screen, only to learn that this setting isn't permanent.
If you turn off the bgm (either in options or using /bgm) before you log out, the next time you log in the title screen bgm will not play. That's been my default ever since the jump-scare title screen bgm.
I would like this change too.
It would be fun to have the title screen match where I am in the story as I'm running through on NG+ or an Alt.
Yea, it is a real pity that SE has not included in this feature the possibility to make the title screen change permanent. As we all know, Yoshi P invited us not to use external programs to change our gaming experience and I respect his position. Imo the real problem is that SE often gives us what we want in half. This is really a shame and it almost seems like a constraint to have to resort to external features to make the features that SE brings us to each patch complete. Really, sorry Yoshi P, but a permanent title screen change is not something out of your reach. I hope that in the future SE stops bringing us half features
P.s. all this to say that it is possible to have a permanent title screen of the expansions before SB. Google it :D
