Trial accounts unable to receive Achievement rewards after 5.5 update

Bug details:
Achievements that were earned before 5.5 can no longer have their rewards redeemed on Trial accounts. It produces an error message instead.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Be on a Trial Account version of the game
2. Have an achievement that was completed before Patch 5.5 (possibly those earned after as well, cannot test yet)
3. Open the Achievement menu and try to redeem the completed achievement by clicking on the item reward
4. Click "Yes" when asked if you'd like to claim the reward
5. Receive error

While the error message is specific, I'm still operating under the hope that this is a bug, considering I'm unable to see it mentioned anywhere as an intended feature/update, and rewards could be redeemed on trial accounts before the patch, so now this feature seems unexpectedly broken.

Please help investigate. If it was a planned change please help document it - this was very unexpected, and quite disappointing if intended.

I can confirm that achievements completed during Patch 5.5 also suffer from the same bug.

(Also, the Trial Account Terms link in the OP isn't formatted correctly and is broken.)

Hopefully they can either extend the menu retrieval to trial accounts, or change how calamity vendor works to award them once they're available instead of after they're accepted.
