feedback for the developers

Right now, this housing system is completely one sided in favor of people who already own houses. On Balmung, small plots would open only to be traded by people from other housing wards leaving actual homeless people stuck without the ability to actually buy a small plot of land.

Here's my suggestion on how one might fix this:

1) Add 10 more housing wards to the list this would mean 10 wards with 10 subwards
2) unhide the ready to purchase clock. Right now, that is making some super unhealthy playing behavior as people are being forced to stay up for 24 hours or more, trying to compete
3) stop giving priority to the relocators. If homeless can't get the property that just went on the market, then relocators should not be able to swoop in while its on its timer and snatch it right up also add a long long cooldown timer to relocating as a penalty

Lord of the Rings Onlines housing system used to be automated in that if 3 or less houses became available in a given ward, the system would automatically generate 3 more wards for houses. So everyone can be included on a super huge server like Balmung, you should consider some way to help everyone be able to get a house if they can afford the extortionate amount of gil required.

For feedback the developers they've asked us to not make new threads all the time but make big meaty threads collecting everyone's thoughts.
If you want any hope of your feedback to reach them I recommend adding your voice to an existing thread.

1. They know we need more wards. They announced August 2020 that we would get 3 wards in October 2020, all they could fit on their existing server hardware. They said at the time that more wards were intended*, but presently withheld due to travel restrictions that are still in place today.

2. The timer really needs to be re-addressed, yes. But displaying the timer would not be any notable improvement, as is discussed in other threads.

3. A limitation on relocation is not possible unless FCs are made exempt. Prior to the system existing, FCs would have to kick offline members to demolish their rooms so that they could move houses. Limiting relocation would simply cause this to happen again. They aren't patching a downgrade into the game. Better to improve the timer and help campers rather than hurt relocators.
