Questions Regarding Free Companies

I would like to be in a friendly, communicative, FC; where members take the time to greet other members when they log in and welcome new members when they join; where members enjoy chatting with each other, and basically where, at least some of the time, there are discussions ongoing in FC chat.

I am on the Goblin server. If any of you are in such an FC, please post the name of your FC as I would like to join it.

The other option is for me to start my own FC. I do not take the responsibility of doing this lightly and am really not interested long term in the "master" role. If I do form my own FC, and it becomes moderately successful, can I transfer mastership to another member?

as for you question, yes, you can transfer leadership to another member

I would be very careful about transferring leadership in a FC. I remember a story about a FC that promoted someone to leader. That person kicked everyone out, took everything from the FC chest, then disbanded the FC. Or something like that. So you have to be very careful about whom you trust.

I recommend the community finder that was linked as well. It's a new lodestone area where people advertise FCs and linkshells that are recruiting.
