chocobo "feather color will no longer change" Please help!!

I am using this site: https://ffxivchocobo.com/en/desert-y...ioncorn-yellow to change my Chocobo's color to Millioncorn Yellow because that yellow is closer to the yellow in Moltres the Pokémon.

I followed the CORRECT feeding order, but half way through it told me that the color will no longer change and now I am worried that I wasted 50k gil on fruit that I wasted because I am being told that it reverted.

I Googled that message but nothing relevant came up.

Does anybody know what the problem could be?
