Like Master, Like Pupil MSQ bugged

hey all, I've never used forums before but here I am since the GM's and support center is practically useless

I'm unable to progress in my MSQ, I am currently on the "like master, like pupil" set of missions, and at the matoyas relict dungeon, I have cleared the dungeon many times on all my characters and still am unable to progress in the questline. the trust system doesn't show it available, I have no NPC's standing outside of the mission area either. the duty finder shows a green checkmark in the top right corner of the dungeon and I even tried to use the new game+ feature to see if when I got there it would get fixed. I have contacted the GMs in-game and through email several times since last week, and they just keep repeating the same useless trash about using the active help and something else that's irrelevant. I have filled out that long and pointless form over 10x now and I refuse to do it again as it just asks for a bunch of useless information. How do I fix this issue? is there a way to reset my main scenario questline? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game already and nothing fixes it.

maybe watch another one since that ones long but whenever i can’t do something i look up a video for it. also maybe step outside of the area or click on the quest and it’ll take you to the map that shows where to finish it.

Thank you for showing me how to clear the dungeon, NOW let me repeat my issue. so in the video where 48:01 where the cut scene starts... THAT DOESNT happen in my game and NEVER has, as a result, my mission shows a completion checkmark in duty finder and NO progress in the questline. After I leave the dungeon, it still shows my objective as being " use the duty finder to enter matoyas dungeon"

When you leave the dungeon, are you clicking the portal or are you opening Duty Finder and clicking the leave button?

:rolleyes: :rolleyes: Yikes on the attitude. There's a step either you or the game are/is missing, I linked the video so you could follow it step by step and see where the disconnect is.

Sounds like could actually genuinely be bugged. Did you get a disconnect at any point when you originally cleared the duty?

But, you might want to actually fill out the provided template for a bug report, otherwise they may likely not even look at this.

They say theyve done it on multiple different characters. I'd say it's more likely user oversight but there could be a step in the msq that the game isn't registering for their specific account for some reason?

Thank you for the reply, I don't remember there being a disconnect during my first completion, and every time I leave the duty I click the portal. I have submitted this issue several times now, with the GM responses saying the same thing over and over about using the active help and looking up guides for dungeon clearing. It's the most frustrating thing.

and like I stated. when I arrive at the dungeon entrance, NO NPCs are standing by for trust completion, the duty finder shows a completed checkmark in the top right corner, and when I tried the new game+ mode, it ended right at the beginning of that quest.

You said you used New Game+. Did you suspend this first before trying to progress your quests? There is a suspend button in the interface.

Although it's hard to think of what else the problem may be, perhaps it would be helpful to see a screenshot of the quest in your journal showing the current task, at the location where the dungeon begins.
