We can rebuild her task NOT completing on alt

With my Rydia Mystt character, I am asked to "with the chat mode in say, enter any phrase containing "Anogg" near the destination of the Copied Factory"

However, I have done so repeatedly yet the task NEVER completes!!! This was NOT a problem with my main Moltres Rider. It is only on Rydia Mystt that this fails to work for.

I typed the following,

"Level up, Anogg"

"Shrink to 1 inch tall, Anogg"

"Where are you, Anogg"

"Are there Anogg"

I even tried putting quotes around "Anogg" like this:

"Are you there "Anogg"?


Yet that still DOES NOT work


I even tried saying a phrase containing "Anogg" WHILE targeting the entrance to the Copied Factory and it made no difference.


I Googled the problem but literally nothing came up. Just a bunch of spammy results, most of which were not even in English. Many other results, Google said that it was missing several words that I typed.

Did you find the glowing spot inside the solo explorable Copied Factory instance? Remember, according to the story, you're supposed to be showing them "the corpse room".

This was posted in the bug forum as well. As it was mentioned in that forum, you need to click the button to enter the copied factory, then go through the factory to the location. The factory that the alliance raid takes place in is now explorable and is where Anogg is.

Have you tried "What? It's just an ordinary- OH MY GOODNESS! ANOGG!!!"

You don't want to be vaguely near the marked destination within the separate Factory instance. You want to be standing on the marked destination.

Just saying "Anogg" once you're standing on it is enough. You don't have to come up with any fancy phrase.

May also need the destination targeted. Some of those work that way.

Don't have to, but should. No fun in just saying a single keyword.

To reiterate, this is like trying to complete a quest in the Rising Stones while standing outside the entrance. Sure, on the map, it looks like the quest marker is in Mor Dhona. But that's because it's telling you to actually enter the separate area where the destination actually is.

Just because you're "at the quest marker on the map" doesn't mean you're at the destination.

For those way behind like me, you don't have to click on the destination once you get to it after running alllll the way through the copied factory.

Just put chat mode into say and type Anogg while standing near the "destination". Then the story will pop up. It took me forever to realize that I didn't need to click on the destination and then type. None of the other comments were helpful so thought I'd share my thoughts.
