Hello. Stupid question, like sincerely stupid, but I've been searching everywhere and cannot find an answer, or indeed an instance of this question being asked.
Is there a reason the YoRHA Type-53 gear that drops from the Puppet's Bunker can't be Desynthesized, sold to a vendor, Exchanged for Seals via the Grand Company Expert Delivery, or donated to the Doman Reconstruction basket?
All top end gear is like that when it first comes out. They'll probably allow us to do all those things when the next raid comes out in a couple weeks.
This is normal for any gear when it's the best for the content type that rewards it. Once the content type has a new update release with better gear, the older gear is changed to allow desynthesis and to turn it in for Grand Company seals. It's to discourage players from needng/greeding on gear they won't use that could be a legitimate upgrade for another player.
You should be able to desynthesis it once the next Yorha raid is released.
Yes usually tucked away in patch notes is a notification that previously disallowed desynthizable items can now be desynthed, for the Puppet's Bunker gear this should occur when 5.5 hits when it's follow up raid is released.
Huh. TIL, was not aware of that.
