if you final sting combo do you still get the spell?

i want to know if i can before i waste time trying it to cheese trials

Never tried it myself but I imagine it wouldn’t work because of how the game applies things. Simply put, you don’t gain exp/loot on kill, there’s a slight delay. You don’t learn the spell until that delay is up, and you die from final sting before that delay is up.

Not 100% on this, as I haven't tried it.

I have heard though, that you can use Self-Destruct/Final Sting to complete Masked Carnival Challenges easier (the boss has 45% or less health in some cases).

So, if it can be used to complete the Carnival, it might work on Spells you can learn there.

I don't think it works for World/Dungeon spells though, as like Eclipse said, you'd be dead before you could learn it.
