Trust system in all dungeons in the story

It would be good to put the Trust system in all the dungeons in the story, because it is very frustrating to be DPS and stand in a huge queue to continue the story, and if that is not enough, you are still worried about rushing to see the dialogs and suchlike because there are others waiting for you. Like in Ifrit, Titan, Garuda, Stone Vigil, Castrum Meridianum and The Praetorium. Aside from the fact that it is extremely immersive in the story.

A help for this issue could be to use the squad as allies in Trust before level 71. A reworking of the squadron's behavior to be more like the Scions would suffice for this function, specifically. Or, use ordinary NPCs dressed in the clothing of the Grand Company you join.

I play healer, but I see how DPS suffers in the story because of these dungeons and other scenarios in the story where they need a group.

Unfortunately this idea would involve a massive amount of developer work, especially testing every single story dungeon. However, Castrum and Prae should absolutely be given a Trust system as these are the two most problematic instances, requiring both their own roulette and forced cutscenes simply to function.

What could also help a lot without taxing Dev resources is to simply bridge the 60-70 gap with a few Squadron dungeons. Even if it was only Sirensong, Shisui and Doma. That would cover 20-71 via Squadron, allowing the Trust system to take over from there.

The trouble is, the Trust system was specifically set up with ShB in mind and it's dungeons were designed especially for Trusts in that the dungeons' mechanics were programmed to allow for the more limited Trust AI, and further, it was because the story no longer could get away with using other players to help you (as in 'other Adventurers', as there is no Adventurer System in the First), so the Archons were used instead to fill in. Before that point though, the story assumed you were gathering a party of fellow adventurers to help you, hence no need for Trusts. The Grand Company Squadron are hence made up of generic 'adventurers' with no real personality or backstory.

Unfortunately, due to issues with dungeons' mechanics shown with the Squadron, it seems that SE will not be able to retroactively add the Trust system to pre-ShB dungeons and trials I'm afraid.

I dont really think they will be retrofitting the trust system into older dungeons for a long long while, it will probably be added years down the road like flying in ARR was. Liam and Ekidoh already made good points, but I understand the frustration with the queues when you just want to do something but it will always be a imperfect system in MMOs (at least no one has found the perfect answer for this problem).
