trust dps.
hello, im leveling my bard and doing it in dungeons and while this prolly isn't the best way to level i need practice on dodging, dps'ing, while keeping buffs up. but my question is for the Dps trust. is there a go to trust for best dps? or they all the same? even though trust dont really do the greatest dps lol. thanks in advance for any help or tips.

They all just do single target damage, though if anything, Minfilia will use trick attack, so that can help boost the damage you do, which should be higher than any trust DPS choice. Alisaie is also pretty solid, especially if you ever go through as healer since she'll use vercure on Thancred so you don't have to heal.
-
Alisae will also limit break frequently, which could be good or bad depending on if you're a dps that will use it more effectively, or a tank/healer where it would be wasted on you.
-
Minfilia does have one drawback, specifically on the final boss of Dohn Mheg, where she'll never make it over the tightrope section in time. But if that's your wiping point, even with Trusts, then you've got bigger problems.

All three DPS choice doesn’t seem to differ much, besides some of their personal quirks like others’ have mentioned.
I do want to add that Ryne can also use the melee LB but this is very uncommon. The only time I’ve seen her using it is when I left the LB fauge untouched for entire run & she used it against the 3rd boss. Even that doesn’t guarantee her to use it. The same applies to Y’shtola.
I don’t think Y’shtola brings anything else to the table beside slightly higher personal dmg. Her Water III & Tornado visuals looks like an AoE spell but I don’t think they hit multiple target. I could be wrong though.
Special mention: Urianger. Not a DPS choice, but there are times when healing aren’t needed, he might choose to cast Death. Considering how everybody else are only single targeting everything, this can be good (shaving some time off) or bad (your Thancred dies because he choose to cast Death at a wrong time). Pairing with Alisae can alleviate the latter possibility.
(I don’t speak of G’raha because I only ever ysed him as a tank and healer)
