The game is recognizing my gaming mouse as a gamepad and automatically switches to it at random. This use to happen with long periods of normal function in between, but today it happens every few minutes. I have tried toying with all of the settings in game and my mouse settings. I can't figure this issue out and it's becoming more than an inconvenience at this point.:mad:
Sounds like a driver problem. If you happen to know of you're mouse model and such. Knowledge is power.
Often than none, you can get the requisite driver packs using google. In which case, un-install the mouse drivers completely and then re-install them. Better done if you have the disc that usually comes with them.
Also make sure to run windows update before re-installing, if it's a driver problem. that usually sorts it out.
If you're problem persists post-install.
disconnect you're pc from the web, re-install once more and disable automatic updates. It might be an interim fix. But only in theory.

How long have you been experiencing this issue? Does this issue occur if a different mouse pad is used? Additionally what have you tried to alleviate the issue?
