After much contemplation and thought over the last few months we have decided to rebuild our former Free Company with a new name and a new discord.

We feel it is time to finally resurrect what we used to call home! We have realized that if we were to consider bringing the FC back to life, that we should go back to the formula we had when we started and were at our best. Not a hardcore raiding guild with statics and a bunch of officers to make it all go around. But a social FC, a place with a good atmosphere where people felt comfortable and taken care of, every member mattered and had a place.

So here we are, eager and ready to move forward. New ideas, dedication and high hopes for where the story will take us next in Endwalker. What will the new lands hold for us, what secrets and wonders will we uncover. More importantly, who will be there alongside us to share and make stories.

Let me introduce you to A Bunch of Knobs <BoK>, a Free Company created to give new, returning and veteran players a place to experience content at a relaxed pace with no pressure or unrealistic expectations. An FC that is made by people with over a decade-long friendship. A place where the members understand that everyone moves at their own pace. You choose how you want to explore the world and the characters you play.

We will help you and guide you, to the degree that you want us to. BoK is as stated a social FC, but that does not mean we will not offer much of the same content other FC do. Bok will still offer raiding, trial groups and so on. Our members do all the content in the game, the difference is that we do it with a more relaxed approach. We don’t have a goal to be large and competitive, we prefer the small to medium size so all our members can get to know each other more personally.

Most of our members are between 25-40 years old. We all have jobs, some of us have kids as well. We understand that people have a life outside the PC. We don’t expect people to be on every day, we will also not force you to join our discord (but recommend) as we know some people struggle with language or have anxiety. A place for everyone!

So here we are then, with Endwalker on the horizon. A new start with old friends and to making new ones. Catered for people like us who have a hectic life consisting of jobs and kids, a place where you can log in knowing that we’ll be on the other side of a loading screen waiting to greet you. You won’t have any silly rules forced upon you, we’ll always try to help you when possible, which we would hope you also do for others. At the end of the day, we see this FC as a home away from home, treat others the way you’d expect to be treated.
