A More Relaxed Glamour Approach for NON-JOB SPECIFIC Sets

I think the title says it all. What do you all think about allowing older sets of gear to relax on the restrictions of job requirements? As an example a DRK being able to use some stuff from a ranged duty set or vice versa? Again, not the Job sets themselves that are specific to the Job, but the ones that are shared across multiple jobs in a category.

Glamour runs off the equip system and cannot be loosened without allowing the additional classes to also equip the base item.

They had that in ARR and it wreaks havoc on equipment recommendations for tank.

They would obviously have to do some work to de-couple who can use an item for glamour from who can use it as gear. Having glamour tied so tightly to equip system is just silly.

As I understand it from what people have said in the past, it's not a choice for them to tie the two together or not, but an inherent part of how the glamour system is programmed.

Could they not set better measures for what a tank should stat for vs restricting the glamour system? Sorry if that seems like a bad question, new here.
