Show your support! Hideable Tails/Capes

As time goes by, it seems that we're getting more and more capes on chest pieces; which is fine but:

I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to be able to toggle either the cape or the tail, to avoid clipping. Please, SE.

Same goes for Au Ra horns (other races ears too) and hoodies. They still have a long way to go with toggle on/off certain features/items.

I'm all for more options. Having a toggle for cloaks sounds like a good idea

I wish they would just make an alternate tail position for robes or capes that makes it lower to hang under the dress/cape. They already have something similar with the i110 tome gear for casters that makes your tail arch upwards. I'm not someone who really cares about clipping in 99% of situations, but it really kills capes for me for some reason.

Yeah I'd like the option to hide tails (which will likely be the easiest option to develop) as some of the clipping just really puts me off playing races with tails.

I don't know about you, but I don't think there's any way to explain where my horns went when I put a hood on.

I would prefer we actually get more capes like the shire custodian one that don't cut into tails. Its not hard to model something to have a small hole or gap where the tail goes if we can't have that.

Its quite egregious given we have 3 of the 7 races with tails

same with my horns, a hole or something so that i dont have to toggle it off because it looks ridiculous. I want to look like I belong on a battlefield in plate, not at camp because there's no helmets that don't snip through my horns. I understand though that helms would be a lot harder than tail holes though on account of different shapes (you poor sods you fin horn users)


Pretty certain in such a setting where a large chunk of the eorzean population has tails, that they'd make clothing take them into account. I remember a leve in crystarium state that you're crafting new helmets to replace a shortage of the miqote helms.

Been asked for many times over the years, sadly nothing have happen.

So, don't count on it happening.

So you want to hide your Tail, how about uninstalling the nude mod? sry :p

I just would like that hoodies were wide enough to cover my horns instead of having my horns piercing through the fabric :)
