Though such things like the Rathalos fight, Nier Automata, and Yokai Watch event were things of partnerships and agreements, it would be nice to see Square give some more love to it's own titles.
Outside of references to FF games and FF tactics through the stormblood AR, there's some little glimpses of other titles given some love. The Dragon Quest event is one such nod and showcase, hopefully the expand on it later on. But from at least my experience, it can be easily missed the nod to the Ogre Battle Tactics franchise for those going through the palace of the dead for the first time. The "Notice of Death" theme as well as the skulking figure was a really nice touch to it.
But what other square titles would you like to see make an appearance in FFXIV?
For me, I would personally love to see something, if it was a trial, an Alliance Raid, or something that showed love to the series "Brave Fencer Musashi" and it's amazing music. There's its various bosses to play around with, along with Musashi himself. From the whole "binchotite crystal" you could explain something away for him being summoned into the realm of Eorzea. Mayhap obviously not this coming expansion, but something into the future would be nice to show some love to that title. Hell, you've even got the Lalafell race that could serve to emphasize on his shortness.
But again, I ask what other square titles would you like to see make an appearance in FFXIV?
