Crossworld Linkshell User Limit Increase

I have looked all over and I cannot seem to find any other thread about this other than on Reddit so here goes (if this is in the wrong place forgive me and let me know where I should be posting it instead).

Suggestion: As our FC has grown we have made friends in other servers on our DC as well and we use the Crossworld Linkshell to do literally all our FC and friend chatting. We've already reached the max limit of 64 users and wondered if it was possible for SQE to increase it? It would be amazing if so.

I remember reading that this is definitely on the Dev's to-do list but due to infrastructure issues, it may take some time. As they are going to buy new servers and upgrade the DCs for 6.0, hopefully we will see the limit increased around that time. I believe the specific technial limitation they have is server to server communications and the current 10 Gig connections are insufficient to do what they want.
