question about desynthesis

Hi all,
a beginner question here: are all weapons & gears desynthesizable ? (assuming you are max level on your crafter)

I have read that if an item can be desynthetized, it will show the level required, otherwise it will show a "Desynthesizable:N"

I'm asking because I want to trade some items (Nier raid items i490) for company seals but apparently I can't and when looking at these items, all have the "Desynthesizable:N"

If that's the case, what can we do with these gears ?

Some current gear is made untradeable, unsellable, and undesynth-able in order to discourage people from rolling on gear they're not gonna equip.
After doing Emerald EX I'd roll on every single weapon if I could liquidate them into gil, seals, mats, or whatever. But instead they've set it up like this so those items generally flow to the people that will use them.
If you want to hold onto them, as they become less current they'll usually become sellable.

that really useful to know, thanks a lot.
(I guess i was some of these people on rolling on everything ..., will pay attention from now on)

eventually new items as they become older will be allowed to be desynthesized. it will take a patch or two.

Once we get the third raid all gear from the second raid will be desynthable and able to be turned into GC seals.
