3.0 Glass Fibers, Questions for my fellow Crafters

Yes Glass Fibers, the old mat from 3.0 you got from Moogle Dailies!

As of now I know you can get them from GC & Moogles Dailies. I've been doing those and buying them as I can... since it's rather limited / expensive.

You used to be able to get them from desynth as well by desynthing 3.0 Crafting/Gathering Gear. So I went to do that today. I had desynthed about 200 pieces of gear before I realized that I was getting Luminous Fibers not and not Glass. I understand it's a buff for them to drop Luminous Fibers since Glass Fiber is a precursor mat for them but it's frustrating when I want the Glass Fibers to make housing items, for my house.

I hadn't realized they changed this...

Is there any gear out there that you can desynth and still get Glass Fibers? I've looked online and all the resources say you can still get them from the crafting / gathering gear which is not true.

Seems there’s a pretty large amount according to that page, specifically void ark gear and crafter/gatherer artifact gear.

I doubt there is any gear desynth that will provide them anymore. Likely the only desynth source is the same items you want to be making.

Considering how easy it is to get GC seals, that's probably your best bet.

As Youkulm said, that no longer seems to be accurate. I get Luminous Fiber when desynthing those items, not Glass Fiber, and Luminous Fiber isn't even listed as a possible desynth result. At some point SE changed it but that information didn't get updated on GamerEscape.

As Jojoya said and I said in my OP. This is outdated information. SE changed it at one time, just not sure when.

Also thanks Jojoya, guess ill stick to moogle dailies and throwing all my GC seals at fibers.

I just desynthed void arc items and ended up with a glass fiber, so I know they are still possible.

I don't trust my memory that far back, but I "FEEL" like it was from belts, rather then the fancy armor bits.

A LOT of stuff has been changed that GE hasn't kept up with. Ran into a different one recently.
