I think a better question would be since we already have what the devs called quest hubs, will they be more than they are now.
My guess is no and grinding will still be the main way of leveling classes. Its always going to be faster anyway.
I think quest hubs and quests that have breadcrumb trails to new camps and area's are very important.
I don't want continuous quest spamming like other MMO's but something like a decent quest chain for each camp would be nice.
Quest Grinding sucks. In the end you dont even read them anymore. That being said. If i had to guess i would say there will be enough quests in this game to take 2-3 classes to level 50.
I want lots and lots of quests. But I dont want them to be my primary source of leveling. I want them to be the reason i want to level up. "Gotta get two more levels so I can get that next quest."
I just hope they figure out a way to make it so you dont just do every quest on the one Job you already took to 50.
Any sort of quest hub would be better than what is at present. Grinding isnt altogether terrible, it just gets tedious. Also I'm hoping mobs later in the game drop better loot than just food. Yes?
Has this ever been done in any FF world? Is there something to base this idea on?
I'm in huge favour of lots of stories (especially ones I can understand). Although I can respect it is a lot of work to do correctly. However, I do not know if it is possible for them to put in enough stories for us to level all our jobs up to max without repetiton.
