My miner is busted or I am stupid...need help

Since noone at Square Enix bothered to put an in game guide on the new mining collectable system as they revamp mining actions for the 15th time this expansion.

Here is my issue when I go up to a node I am not getting the new box on any of the minerals you would use to get a collectable item.

The box is just not opening to use the Collectable actions. Any idea what I am doing wrong?


...figured it out. It needs to have the little box symbol next to it......

btw who decided that the Tutorial only starts after you figure out how to get it to work in the first place? I like the new system because it is stupid simple and more predictable but that is one minor fix.
