New Game+ Unlock Help

So I'm looking at the Return to Ivalice button (that's currently locked) for New Game+, and after crosschecking the completed quest log against a wiki, I learned that there's a couple of quests in the airship that I never completed (for whatever reason) that are preventing the button from being unlocked.

So what I'd like to see is a hint appear when you try to use/click on the locked entries in New Game+ that points you to either unlocking the prior chapter or where you can start or resume the chapter (in case you get side tracked).

I really shouldn't need to have to cross check an external source to figure out where I left something off, and getting a helper message for the locked ones would be a huge QOL tweak to the NG+ system.
