To all the whiners, you’ve managed to get SE to turn MNK into a dumbed down boring job to play. And we lost the cool greased lightning aura to boot.

This is the part I'm really sad about as a MNK main:(

im not entirely sure what was lost, the positionals are still there, you just got DRK'd out of an aura effect, well sure its still kinda there on drk but it isnt permanent and is so faint you have to squint to see it.

The greased lightning aura was pretty naff tbf. Little green swirly things, very meh.

The most annoying thing for me is the useless skills. We still have so many useless skills. Anatman, the three fists stances (yes even fire. You always want it on so why even have it instead of damage trait?). SSS while not useless is very niche. Five skills you never actively use or change the way you play at all.

The stances should probably be changed to buffs. Fists of Fire increase crit chance, Feet of Wind as a peloton copy, Body of Earth as a shield, something like that anyway.

Renamed them to different body parts because you'd presumably be able to stack them, and stacking three types of fists sounds a bit silly to me.

I find the gameplay quite entertaining and always have. Its rough that they are forcing you to play the game.

The issue you have here then is button bloat. With this "rework" Mnk has already become incredibly busy with oGCDs and buffs between FC, TK RoE then our standard buffs combining with one of the fastest GCD in the game.
