You're in a dungeon, and the tank starts a pull. She rounds up a few packs, and stops to begin her AOE rotation. You wait a few GCDs to be absolutely sure before you Jin→Ten→ChJK TANK TAKES OFF AGAIN.
It's a tragedy—easily on a par with Antigone or Oedipus.

I see both male and female players do this, and yes, it is quite annoying when this happens. Main reason I don't stop for more than 2 AOEs (full combo) if I'm still going with the pull when I play tank.
What's more annoying though is when the tank mistakes it for an aoe, and they move out of it... repeatedly... It happens more than you think but shitposting in chat about it ("Local tank afraid of Doton, more news at 11!") or just plainly explaining it's not an enemy AOE usually leads to them correcting their mistake. -

In earlier dungeons where the pulls aren’t limited to rooms like how they are in SHB (yea that’s sad) I’ve had the exact same issue with this as MCH back in the day with Bishop applying its invul debuff. It’s annoying but sometimes DPS are over eager with their floor AOEs and spawn it asap

Plus, if you're using Shukuchi to pull Doton with you, you can't use hide to reset mudras, which means 2 less ninjutsu.Quote:
