A less crazy idea somewhat

So my recent post sparked yet another similar idea that s a bit more possible, maybe. That's just to change the shards/ crystals/ cluster to something else for gatherers to get. Theres still plenty of ways for players to get them like gardening for shards. Now we could pick many different things but this would a nice place to put repair material, and why not go into the deep end of crazy ideas like a repair overhaul.

In such rework the repair material could be crafted and not bought buy npcs and only players can repair. This of course would have to come with players requesting of players repair similar to melding. But rather than a simple button press it would great if it was like crafting but instead of failure it repairs less maybe a percentage. And gatherers could supply the mats for those repair material by replacing shards/ crystals/ clusters with the mats.

Of course this is all too complex to ever happen. But at least its not a flat earth Theory.
