I know that Unreal trials will only last 1 patch each but what about the rewards?

I've been doing Shiva Unreal since day 1 and due to how RNG works I am still nowhere near close to getting the mount before 5.4 launches. I know the strategy on how to increase my odds of getting a good amount of faux points+RT but sometimes due to RNG I will get only 5+RT.

Are the rewards limited as well? Because I don't see the point in doing these in the future if I'm going to get screwed out of rewards due to RNG.

Explain what you mean. I went on a wild rant but I think I misread what you said.

The reward from completing an Unreal difficulty fight is just the ability to do the Faux Hollows minigame. The rewards are attached to the tokens from doing the minigame, so it's doubtful anything will be lost with the addition of a new unreal fight because it doesn't change the tokens, the ability to do Faux Hollows, or the rewards associated with them.

I believe the awarded currency doesn't change, and current items won't be removed from the list of what you can purchase. The only thing that changes is the fight. That means you will be able to purchase the previous mount using currency awarded from the next unreal trial. The only constriction that is created there is now you will have to choose from multiple mounts, assuming another is added with the next unreal trial.

It should be the same rewards. That's was the whole point of having these trials rotate. If they each had their own rewards then they could remain as permanent duties.
The Faux Hollows minigame is to standardise the rewards for completing the trials, under the basis that each one will be more of less the same difficulty and not able to outgear and make it trivial. Hence the harsh RNG and length of the grind. It's not meant to be obtainable by everyone within one rotation.
That's not to say they won't add to the rewards though, so people who do manage to get everything still have reason to play them, but I wouldn't expect a new mount for each rotation. Maybe a new mount each year, or when Shiva comes back around however long that takes?

I recall that during a previous interview they acknowledged that players find the current reward system to be rather lacking, and that they may improve the awards, but I haven't heard anything about them dropping any of the current rewards.
