Yup that's where we originated the term. It's just funny that an actual dragon has them too.

They're like referred to as Hip/waist mounted wings for the usual terminology, and they're like usually connected to the lower back too. It's not that uncommon

They call the attack "Diamond Storm", but really, it was just chili night.

If you're putting wings over the shoulders, why not also over the hips?

It's at least slightly more aerodynamically plausible than expecting one pair of wings to hold the entire snakelike body horizontal in flight.

I actually posted years ago I would love more back wings rather than butt wings on gear when some other butt wing outfit came out and we'll just say it was not a popular request. Apparently the anime crowd especially really likes their butt wings for reasons I still don't understand since all the reasons I got for how we have to have butt wings and nothing but butt wings came from anima and manga examples. So I just blame it on FFXIV being a not-anime-but-still-leans-heavily-into-anime-tropes kind of game.

Wait? Who is this directed at? I hope you aren't trying to call me out as a troll? Cause anyone can see I have a long history of posts on here. Whereas you haven't even existed for 2 months. And while that doesn't mean you are a troll per se, a quick look at your post history does show a lot more troll threads than someone who is just new and curious about the game.

Additionally, you can tell this isn't a troll thread because I just simply pointed out an interesting "thing" I wanted people to notice; so they can't unsee it, lol. I didn't question some arbitrary concept like more skirts for men or which race is the ugliest, or something like that.
