Combining PvP with Grand Company content idea

As the name implies, i thought that since both PvP and Grand Company content are kind of...left behind, wouldn't it be a great idea to combine them into something new entirely?

for example, every grand company has its own ranking system from the common foot soldier to the high officers and ultimatively, the storm/serpent/flame champion. It could work similar like the leaderboards for crafters/gatherers for ishgard and PotD/HoH, the better you perform in pvp, the better your status within the grand company will be and the best player within a GC, gets to be the champion while ranks such as marshals/generals will be below him and also, somewhat limited in number (not sure if a top100 would be sufficient for this tbh). it shouldnt have any significant benefit in combat for being a officer, but those do should stand out when youre doing pvp combat, with maybe a symbol next to the job name you usually see out in the field so that players know, that this is a person who knows his trade well.

As for the rewards, it should come with a decent amount of rewards for higher ranking players, maybe something like glamours, minions or even exclusive furniture for housing while the average player, should of course still have a good selection of things to buy with his currency, also while were at it: remove the wolf mark currency and use company seals for them instead.

What do you guys think of this idea and do you have any thoughts to share on this?
