Is dark knight Woeborn better than MCH Lawman?
DRK is a Tank job, MCH is a Physical Ranged DPS job.
Trying to compare different job weapons is fairly pointless, because each job type (Tank/Healer/DPS) uses different stats.
That said, the relic weapons are normalized across the jobs, so each job basically gets the same "buff" and "damage" base, while the primary and secondary stats are tweaked to best fit the job that relic is for.
In that sense, the Woeborn and Lawman are in a very basic way, the same, as the end result of each job having their relic is a same net gain.
Kirika is correct however there are a couple things you also need to look at. IIRC tanks tend to prefer weapons with crit and det on them, and meld direct hit where they can (minus warrior). DRK relic has crit and capped tenacity which is generally unwanted.
MCH stat priority is crit > det > dhit, and their relic is crit with capped det. From a pure stat perspective the MCH weapon is better overall for the job, but there’s nothing stopping you from getting both weapons. Also to note with DRK you want some skill speed to get your 5 hits in under delirium.
In essence, do you play DRK or MCH more? Get the weapon for whichever you play most then work towards the other one.
If you care about glamour, you'll be getting both in the end presumably (and glamour is the end goal of relics generally).
Sounds like MCH currently benefits from their relic more than DRK does, though neither should be BiS (the Eden weapon is due to higher ilvl).
It's strictly better than the augmented tome. Every i500 relic is strictly better than the augmented crystarium, and for healers, they're BiS
minor edit: best option for PLD without getting raid weapon is relic sword/tome board. figured i'd add that before someone can get at me with pedantry since this is, after all, the internet.
