SE, please consider adding a Gwyber or something to Memoria Misera (Extreme)

What is the context of this request?

In this user's anecdotal and personal experience, it is much slower and more tedious to find players that are interested in either "learning" or "farming" the duty, "Memoria Misera (Extreme)", than other Extreme Trials, such as "The Dancing Plague (Extreme)", "Hades's Elegy (Extreme)", "Cinder Drift (Extreme)", "The Pool of Tribute (Extreme)", and etc.

My hypothesis, which lacks statistically-significant data, is that this issue is caused by Memoria Misera (Extreme) not offering sufficient rewards to motivate a large enough amount of players to want to repeatedly complete this content. This also implies that "dyeable Relic Armor" is not sufficient motivation for the majority of players to want to repeatedly complete an Extreme Trial duty.

What is this user requesting?

I would like the developers to explore the possibility of adding a more universal reward to Memoria Misera (Extreme), that would motivate a broader selection of players to want to "learn" and "farm" this duty, so that players who are interested in farming its glamours or items will spend less time trying to find enough other players that are interested in participating in this duty.

The suggestion of a "gwyber" is included because "yet another mildly-sparkling mount to add to your preexisting pile of 632 unused mounts with mild particle effects" seems to be a powerful motivator for a large enough amount of FFXIV players that almost all other Extreme Trials remain active, both "learning" and "farming", long after their rewards become outdated with regard to item level progression.

If creating another unique "gwyber" is deemed too costly in terms of development budget, perhaps the development team could consider repurposing an unused preexisting Garlean machine model, or perhaps allowing players to simply ride around on Varis yae Galvus's shoulders, perhaps with a Mount Action that creates harmless "Terminus Est" X's in the air.

if they were going to put mount as reward for MM EX it would have been there from the beginning. they're not going to back and add one in at this point. the dyeable gear was the point of the trial, also giving out 2 totems. like all content it will die out eventually. if you don't need the armor from it then there's no point in running it. otherwise advertise in pf you want a group to do it and get your friends/fc together to do it.

it's highly doubtful this will happen given the fact that things like the special mounts follow patterns. ARR had 6 ponies required to get the Kirin, and had a small chance on some of dropping a special 7th mount. the following ARR high-end trials did not have a mount drop: Thornmarch (Extreme), The Minstrel's Ballad: Ultima's Bane, and Urth's Fount. Heavensward had 7 birds and 7 trials total, and collecting all 7 gave the Firebird mount. Stormblood had 7 doggos to collect in order to get the Kamuy of the Nine Tails, with 8 high-end trials, The Great Hunt (Extreme) having the only prize be tokens that you could buy a special crossover mount with. Based on what the devs have said about content for this patch cycle, we'll have 7 dragons to get a special mount, with Memoria Misera being the odd one out, since we have two more trials for Sorrow of Werlyt and the side story trials are always going to be part of the mount series.
