DRK should get a new 3rd combo finisher animation

the old one called Powerslash iirc was nice and cool, you slash them and do little energy blast from your hand, in SHB they changed this to soul eater and soul eater animation feels so weak, like theres no impact to it.

compared to other tanks combo finisher, man, DRK's feels so weak

First, DRK needs to stop being Warrior But Edgy.

I feel for you I really do since drk main here but soul eater really isn’t a problem but if we go with animation it’s a matter of opinion I for one think it’s one of the best original animation they have and don’t really see a reason other than it doesn’t flow with other animation quite well anymore if you want Impact this really isn’t the class really it all magic a the weight of you sword not like war where it’s I’m putting all my strength and weight into this and the moves called soul eater do souls have collision boxes?

They should give DRK Ground Strike or Torcleaver from FFXI. I'd ask for Resolution, but uhh, man that's a 5-hit animation and we'd never get to see all of it even on the GCD.

Power Slash just sounded so powerful when you hit with it(Boosh-BOOSH!), and it had a cool animation too. I dig it. I'd also be okay if they combined the animation with scourges effect, and just treated it like PLD goring blade, as a branch off Syphon strike

Completely agree.

Frankly Dark Knight's entire basic combo feels that way to me, they swing that sword around like a complete amateur. I get that they wanted to give the impression of weight, but...

Thats what bothers me the most, the run animation with weapon out looks awful, like if you trip on a rock youll stick the sword into the ground, etc

Whole class needs to be back at Heavensward time.
