While it is possible we'll get beastmaster as a limited job at some point, I wouldn't take this as a hint.
From what I've seen in Bojza this may just be a means of explaining having different types of enemies to fight on a war front so it's not all just generic garlean soldiers and unending waves of magitek robots to fight. Not necessarily suggesting an upcoming beastmaster job.

I hope we get it as a normal job cause I wanna main it, I always liked the whole beast master idea in games or movies.
In ESO they had the Warden class for their beast master and it was fun, especially being a Khajiit Warden, I'd be a Hrothgar beast master in 14.
I enjoyed the blue mage content cause it was really fun, but I hope puppet master or some other job gets the limited job treatment, not beast master, I wanna main it.
If its anything like Blue it would be a massive waste of resources
Honestly, what would even be the reason to make them limited, they have pet ai in the game, albeit far from perfect, it could easily be a full job, ala a physical damage version of SMN in a way idk spitballing ideas. But they already have unique weapon models, a one handed axe and sometimes shields, admittedly it's a reskinned PLD/GLD sword model. It's less teasing at this point tbh.
Problem with the pet AI is that they cannot find a way to make it work properly. As you likely know SCH/SMN pets used to be a lot more functional and unique and it just caused constant problems for the dev team. Even now with their AI being functionally nerfed they're still a nuisance because although they no longer have to account for their health anymore their casting delays are still a major issue. Pretty much anyone who has played SCH at 80 for example can tell you horror stories about using Seraph in particular. Namely that her timer is an outright lie. The last 5 seconds of her 22 second window might as well not even be there due to her casting delay which causes any faerie ability cast during that time to have a net chance of simply not being cast at all. Except instead of the ability registering this issue, you now have to wait for said faerie ability to go off cooldown because functionally the game still thinks the ability was used even when it wasn't. This can happen regardless of whether the faerie was preoccupied before the cast or not.
Honestly speaking I don't want to even think of Beast Master as a full fledged job with pet mechanics until the existing pet mechanics are fixed.
Honestly there is no point wasting time and money on a limited job when more of it can be invested into making actual jobs (or reworking Blue Mage to be a normal job) and content. If the pet system is what @Enla claims to be (I can attest to it as well since I main SMN and played SCH both of em have a small delay when using Faerie or Egi actions) then it is better off they spend more of their resources working on the current pet system before working on Beastmaster. Don't get me wrong I would love to have Beastmaster in the game. However as a Normal Job since Limited Job provide nothing but filler content and Jobs are not meant to be filler content. Plus the pet system does need a bit of reworking and upgrade.
If they are going to limited job it... I would rather them not add it and spend the development time on other content that every job can do personally.
I love playing blue but outside farming lowlvl fates it is an absolutely worthless class and a complete waste of time to lvl. Loved BST in FFXI as well, but obviously that kind of class design will not work in FFXIV at all for a primary job. I guess I could them reworking it to be a melee version of smn sorta if they make it a main class.
Not really sure why you'd want any class to be relegated to limited status, but aight chief.
