Maintenance for earrings that no one uses or cares about... WHY

Imagine my dismay when I got off a long hard day at work manufacturing 100 Teslas for rich people in 90 Farenheit working conditions and almost got a stroke to play the game at 2am after putting my kids to bed only to discover the game is under maintenance... and when the maintenance is over apparently it's for earrings that no one uses because there's no way anyone has 1000 appraisals already. So... WHY because of SE I only have 1 hour to play this game before I have to go back to my work... does Square Enix hate working class people or something lol?

for unnecessary earrings, while bozja suffers from a balancing problème on the droprate of shards
100% in the overworld to get shards in fates, and 30% for fates in bozja, is too low ...

Unfortunately for SE, something like whether to change drop rates will requires months of deliberation.

I wondered too. Not because of the maintenance specifically, but the update. It's worrying, because it tells something about the dev.team

They did an emergency maintenance to fix a bug in an item than most players don't have, didn't have the time to get, aren't interested to get, or didn't even know of the existence.
And they haven't completely fixed the earring. They just fixed the f******* +10% XP bonus.

What are we, the players, for the devs. Some kind of XP addicts?

Because it came out of the box with 30%. Doesn't sound like much until you put on the RAF Head Glam +10%, food +3%... We now have 43% XP bonuses. Doing the basic math of 180 minutes grinding starting at level 73, you could make it to level 76 in one session, and level 80 in under 3. Sure the ring is a 1 in a thousand chance to drop but at a guess, there are already 10 to 20 of them out there, and frankly, smart people would be rocking it to level alt Jobs. BTW after the fix, for me it's a 23% boost, so maybe I'll level Monk. because 23% is still a bit broken.

Hi I have the earring it takes almost zero time. Lost death the star mobs. This was listed as a bug on the 13th. The drop rates however are intentonal

I am almost starting to feel worrisome given the amount of time you put in these posts.

Bozja was made for people who wanted more exploratory content. If they made it the easier route to complete the weapon, people would complain that while not being literally forced to participate, they are effectively being forced, so the outside of Bozja being easier actually seems right.

Imagine our dismay when you post yet another pointless boring thread no one really reads or cares about

well there's an easy solution to that, simply make it same drop rate both in and out of bozja, then no one need complain about their side not being favoured.
