Greetings to All
Greetings
I am a new player, 50+ y/o gentleman looking for fun, companionship and guidance as I learn the game. Would love to join a laidback FC as I am a busy RL working professional with only a few hours (maybe) to play per day. I am in the Couerl world.
I am primarily interested in crafting and being of service. I would very happily assist my new FC with gathering and crafting items, cooking, etc i.e providing support for fellow members.
I can fight in a pinch but I simply cannot commit really to being online at any certain time. Even though I reside in the US in EST, my playing hours are usually between 3:00AM and 7:00AM EST.
I am not a mooch. I am actually a dedicated hard worker who will ask for no freebies. I want to become a great and valued player and will appreciate gaining knowledge from experienced player such as yourself. On that note, If I could get an invite to the Noob Channel I would be grateful!!
Also I am still on my free 30 days and have the option of entering a recruitment code. I would love to see someone get some perks. After the free 30 days I will sign up for a 180 day package.
Thanks for reading this and I shall look forward to meeting you!:

Oh, wish you were on Jenova. You seem perfect for semi casual FC on Courel. Who ever gets you will be lucky to have you, I'm sure. Good luck!

Welcome to XIV! You sound like a great friend to have!
Unfortunately our FC is mostly dead at those hours, and we're on a different world.

I'm not on Coeurl, but I wish you the best of luck! You'll be pleased to hear that unless you're going after Savage or Unreal content (the high end battle content) there's really no need to schedule anything in the game. Also, don't worry too much about being a mooch. So long as you put forth your best effort, many players are happy just to accompany a new player on their adventure.

Hey there, perhaps you can find something fitting for you with the Community Finder. https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...munity_finder/
Not all free companies have made use of it, but it seems like it'd be a good place to look.
And welcome.
