Community request: Search system awareness campaign!

The search system works great. A lot of people know this and use it to organize plenty of pick up parties. But for some reason an important number of the community won't use it. Most often than not its because other players don't use it.

For the last couple of weeks I've been shouting whenever I can, ever so often, with the following macro:

Surprisingly I got a lot of tells from people asking me about the search system, where is it located and how to open it. I think it'd be great if people would use this macro (or one of your making) and spread the word!

If we managed a cultural change within the community to get the system as a habit in XIV players party making would be much less of a pain and make XIV overall a better gaming experience.

This doesn't mean sit down in uldah and spam a shouting macro, but... every now and then. When you see a lot of party shouts, or when you're running to pick up a leve and so.

A more instructive macro would be great also; please feel free to post your own!

That macro is just as annoying as the pt shouts.
But good luck on trying to make the search system known.

I'll keep this in mind, Maj. Definitely would be good to increase players' awareness!

Yeah, the search system works so great that I got exactly one party invite leveling my archer from 16-50.

People seem stubborn and unwilling to use it since shouting in Ul'dah seems easier. That and I guess because you can't use autotranslate in the comments section, but if you're doing a party with all the same language speakers, this shouldn't matter.

The Search system IS working great, not the system at fault if people too stupid to use it.
I was doing the same thing 2 weeks ago shouting in ul'dah trying to get ppl to use search.

And know what? a got alot of positive feedback. some negativ as well from ppl too dumb to use the search function

The search will be more widely used when everyone isn't forced to gather in Ul dah...I do try to spread the word, though.
