Is housing 1 per account wide or 1 per server

Hi newbie question, If you have a house on one server can you get another on another server?

It is 1 house per account per server.

This means you cannot have 2 private houses on the same server, unless of course you had them prior to the change. This is how some players can, and other players cannot.

You can have 1 private house and 1 free company house on the same server.

You can have 1 private house, and 1 free company house on different servers on the same data center.

You can have as many apartments as you have leveled characters.

You can even buy and sell or "occupy" as many free company houses as you like. There is a simple work around for the "1 FC house per account per server." Which many bots and such use to continue to exploit the housing system utilize.

You don't need a workaround, you can literally buy 8 FC houses per account. I know the housing mini site says you're restricted to 1 FC house per account and you were... for a week, back in early 2018.

Ever since then there's been no such restriction and anyone can buy 8 FC houses per server, as long as they meet the requirements (having a rank 6+ FC, having 4+ people in the FC at the time of purchase and obviously having the required Gil). The game doesn't even send you to the mini site and nothing in game mentions this past restriction either. I have no idea why they don't update the site.

Personal houses are still limited to 1 per service account, per world, as you mentioned.

thank you everyone, sadly i couldnt get into game quick enough to get a house not even a small one so am very disappointed as im sure many many people are, since then ive found if someone already has a house they can relocate to another house ignoring any timers, this i feel is extremely uinfair to those that dont have a house and have already camped 2 houses with timers that have been taken out from under my feet, :(. I love housing and this is the first game ive played that has had this issue of lack of housing, wont mention names, but they have a got a system where it dont matter when or where u want the a house it is there (i believe they call instance housing) but ur never disappointed or have one taken from under ur feet :(. I cant camp up to 26hrs (that ive read) i have cooking washing ironing cleaning shopping etc, and what about people who work!! we all pay the same for subscriptions we all work hard int he game and in rl so i believe the housing should be given the same chance to everyone. Sorry for rant but this situation is very bad indeed. May even look for another game, i play to enjoy myself not having to wait for hours and someone else comes in and takes it away after hours :(
