Confirmed Backwards Compatible with PS5 in Live Letter

I know PS4/PS4 Pro players (like me) have been wondering if the game will play on PS5. It has been confirmed in the Live Letter that the PS4 version will play on PS5 and that the PS4 Pro settings will remain in the configuration menu.

Game will have faster load times due to the SSD.

I'm wondering if my saved configuration settings online will be able to be re-downloaded or if I am going to have to reset up my UI?

use the backup function first on the ps4/pc and then download once you have the game downloaded and installed on the ps5.

They just confirmed on their PS5 Resource page, you can download all your saves from the online backup.

It will have PS4Pro settings and they claim that the PS5's hardware will make loading times quicker.
No official work on a PS5 version though.

My PS4 crashed and broke completely about a year ago and I was forced to buy another system... When I did, all my information (gear sets, HUD setup, hotbars) transferred over to the new system. So I would expect that your information will port over to the PS5.

Yeah, current guess is we'll see an official PS5 version for like 6.0 launch, and they prolly drop ps4 in 7.0 or 8.0.
