So, ended up here due to leveling roulette, and when we went to check the legendary chest of the class rings (because we had a level 30 sprout who could actually use it) the chest was gone.
Three different chests turned out to be completely missing from the map.
I know a lot of things got moved to other places, like the items for making the housing items from dungeons, but what happened to the class rings?

Every dungeon got their potion/ether chests removed in a semi-recent patch. It's possible that the chest you're speaking of was removed along with them, and the rings in question were either moved elsewhere or just made unavailable.

If we're talking about the 3 extra chests you can get in Brayflox it might also be that you simply failed the condition for it. There are 3 goblins scattered around the room before the 2nd boss and if you get close to them they get attacked by spawned mobs. You need to save the goblins to get their chests to spawn, if they die you get nothing.

That's not one of the goblin chests though, he's talking about that optional one near the end that was guarded by a coeurl, that had a chance of dropping a level 30 class ring, or else just had a potion or other medicinal item. Unfortunately as Rosentrauch mentioned above SE changed it that most chests that had a chance of dropping items or gear in ARR dungeons were removed as the pink gear they usually dropped was replaced with new dungeon-specific gear in a chest that is guaranteed at the end of the dungeon, so the rings probably now have a chance of dropping after defeating the final boss.
The class rings (along with the gear from Brayflox) have a chance of also being attained through retainer Quick Ventures so that is an another alternative. -

According to the official lodestone-database, the rings are still obtainable from a chest at 11,5/9,9 (thats the chest on the hill) - however, on the run I just did to check it out, I didnt get a ring out of that chest... but out of the chest at 12,0/8,3 (thats the one thats a bit "off the path" before the second boss). Both chests required goblins to be saved before.
So it seems those rings are still obtainable from the dungeon, just not from the chest they used to be in or from the chest the lodestone claims... -

10-06-2020, 07:59 PMADVSSI did notice that theres now green weapons in that dungeon, as far as i can recall all you got were aetherial. I still like the Cavalry sets looks though,and the Battlemage set but its odd that they removed any incentive to fight the Coerl there. Guess in retrospect most people avoided it for speedrunning/zerging to the boss door. Often times one would just wait till everyone left the dungeon and rush to that chest if that was the caseQuote:

.... if the contents of the first few chests change, if you actually save them all and come back, that would be a rather strange and unique mechanic.
If it can only ever drop in the last chest after all the gobs are saved, that's strange, but cool.
